#oneaday Day 799: Bedtime RPG recommendations wanted!

Need to decide on a new bedtime RPG having successfully beaten Final Fantasy V last night! I'm a little torn in a few different directions.

Do I play something I played back in the day and loved, but perhaps haven't revisited for a long time?

Do I play something I've played before, but never beaten?

Or do I try something completely new?

I have a lot of RPGs on my PlayStation Classic in the bedroom, so all three are options. I'm very, very tempted to revisit Final Fantasy Tactics for the first time in many, many years, but I'm also conscious that there are loads of other great PS1- and SNES-era RPGs that I'm yet to try even once.

I'm going to mull it over while I go and have a bath. In the meantime, if any of you have any particularly strong opinions about PS1- and SNES-era RPGs that you think are an essential play — and which preferably might be at least reasonably fun to watch. For "reasonably fun" you can use the fact my wife enjoyed watching me play FFV while she was faffing on her phone before sleep, but also managed to fall asleep moments before the grand finale and thus completely missed me laying the smack down on Exdeath with gratuitous use of Gil Toss and Bahamut.

So yeah. Suggestions welcome. You have about an hour or so! Hit me!
