I've played hundreds (thousands?) of games. RPGs chief among them. And the world of Pokemon is far and away the world that I would most like to inhabit if given the chance. It's not even a close contest with any other game's setting. The joy and whimsy are constant. The sense of discover is comparable. It's a world where people are genuinely good to one another. Villains are foiled, usually with the power of love, and dreams are achieved. Pokemon makes my heart happy.
