I've got a large round space painting almost finished called GALAXIES GALORE which I'd earmarked for the Perth Royal Show later this year. However I now need it for a coming soon Art Awards show here and am preparing another large round space painting – possibly Solar System one for the Royal Show – unless GALAXIES GALORE doesn't sell at the awards show. I'll put a pic of it on my painting blog of wordpress asap.

I put a hold on my own creative writing (I do not consider the writing I do for Operation Rainfall as creative writing, but it is at least practice) for several years. But when I recently pulled the cork out, and entered a Valentine's Day story writing contest, I found that my talent and desire for writing had fermented in a good way. It was a short story contest, but I ended up slamming out 57 pages of text like a man possessed. Sometimes a break can be good until a story really grabs you by the balls. But if writing is truly important to you, you can always find your way home.
