Xillia 2 was a delightful sequel. I must go back and New Game Plus it sometime, if only to actually see what effect having the protagonist actually saying stuff has on the overall "feel" of it. 🙂

That's mainly due to the strength of the cast. I couldn't get enough of Milla and Rowan. Easily two of my favorite RPG characters in recent history. There were so many articles when Xillia first game out from people who didn't bother to play it about Milla's sexy midriff being and issue blah blah blah. But she's one of the strongest women I've ever encountered in a game. Tough but kind, and full of unshakable integrity. She's just wonderful. I really have to get around to playing Xillia 2 to see what she's been up to.
