Even TV console games. I have a nice wireless Sony pair that’s always hooked up to my TV. My wife’s anxiety gets triggered pretty bad by repetitive sounds, so sound effects in games are a bit of a problem. I’m pretty sure she almost left me over Castlevania whip sounds at some point. I don’t resent it at all though. I’ve come to quite enjoy the isolation and purity of sound that the headphones provide. And when those rare opportunities arise when I don’t have to use them, that ends up being a fun treat too.
