I have so many of the same concerns whenever I start a new job. It's so hard to put yourself out there when everyone else has known each other for so long – so it's nice that everyone at your new gig has been welcoming.

It's true that having a job that's unrelated to your hobby can be a tad boring and/or unfulfilling at times – but there is nothing more pleasant than coming home at the end of the day (especially on a Friday) and knowing that your free time is indeed your own. You can enjoy your hobbies without pressure. I'm super happy that you're getting there now. You've been through the ringer – and this new situation will be such a welcome reprieve.
