It's refreshing to hear that people vehemently taking political stands that they don't actually understand isn't a strictly American phenomenon. I guess I shouldn't have assumed that it was . . . but it's still nice to hear. My bachelor's degree is in interdisciplinary history and political science – and in four years, all I really learned is that I never want to interact with anybody about politics ever. It's not the politics mind you, it's the people. An argument with an ill-informed person is only half of an argument.
