Writing about something that you are totally familiar with, consumed by, have worn like a blanket. You have a way with characterisation that is so authentic – and in this case I can see you in it, your struggles too – this could help shake off the devil for you. And you are voicing that which so many of us have experienced – the dreams filled with violent retaliation by the dreamer to those who had misused them. I had been sitting here thinking about finally writing my baggage for NaNoWriMo and wondering if I had the courage. And I opened your Part 1 and you were ahead of me. Courage my friend – carry on. 😀
