This is exactly the kind of thing I hate in this industry. I was very pleased with Pierce's article on Gamasutra. I thought it was a great descriptor of how he felt about the situation. Porter's, meanwhile, was defamatory and insulting. While I can understand his position a little, he feels that Pierce was getting undue fame from his GS piece, this is not the way to react. Write a piece of your own as "the other side". Don't go to twitter and bitch and moan. All you did was confirm your place as "the bad guy".
