I was most amused by your first experience of an HO game. Of course the game you picked was not one of the better ones – not bad, but not rivetting! Try Dream Chronicles Series 1 thro to 5; Magic Encyclopedia; or the CSI series especially Hard Evidence, Deadly Intent, and Fatal Conspiracy. Check out my blogsite – judsgamereviews.wordpress.com – I have written about 54 blogs on Crime and HO games. I hate it when they Time the game as well – I reject them if they are timed. I am also not keen on them playing unfair tricks with the graphics so you can't see the HOs for haze! And I agree about the incongruity of the items and where they are often found. But I have overcome that by lol at it.
