In reply to Jen. Please do. I could have gone on for another three thousand words on this topic. Yes, "impact" is a good on. "Claw back" is another good one. As in, "we're behind on our sales forecasts [never 'targets'] - but we can claw it back". There are literally hundreds of bullshit phrases to use. I remember one time a while back when applying for a job, I was encouraged to use the words "talented generalist" in my application. What fucking nonsense.

That 'Not fit for purpose' image is fantastic! May I add 'impact/impacted' to the list? It's not 'How will this impact upon..', it's 'how will this affect it', you irritating twit manager/analyst you! Don't know where the concept's come from but it seems to be appearing everywhere more and more frequently and I don't know what was wrong with 'affect' in the first place :/
