Very excited, and glad that you mentioned it a while back!

How dare you. Not to put all of the blame on you, my unrelenting geekiness always propels me into the board game world at least once a year. On my next stop to GameScape (probably after Christmas), I will at least pick up Mystery of the Abbey because that's exactly the kind of game Amy goes for. I have a feeling that Pandemic would probably go over well also as I remember telling her about it when you last mentioned it. I believe the look she flashed me was one of interest and not "what's on my shoe?".

I'm also grabbing the Munchkin board game for Alex this Christmas. We always have a great time with the card series and some of the jokes have even become family quips (Curse! The universe hates you!). I'll have to give you the scoop once we've given it a good play through.

Finally, are there any other current games out there that are similar in style to Hero Quest? I absolutely LOVED that game but never owned it. It's the perfect game to play with your buddies in a cheezy heavy metal music filled basement…and don't forget the zits.
